STRUCTURE OF THE VACUOLE
The structure of the vacuole is pretty simple there is a membrane that surrounds a mass of fluid it floats in a smooth chloroplast. In that fluid are nutrients, or waste products. It also is the storage space of the cell it holds water, waste and food. It also protects the cell from things that may harm the cell such as waste products. Some people use the term the vacuole is the "garbage can" which is partially true, I know you think lysosomes are the clean up group and they are, but in the plant cell they actually do act like lysosomes.
